I was Faculty at the 34th Annual ISHRS World Congress in Rio de Janeiro π§π·
This year I had the honour of travelling to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for the 34th Annual World Congress of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, and not just as an attendee. I was invited to serve as faculty for the ABHRS Board Review Course, helping prepare the next generation of surgeons for the very board examination that certifies specialists in our field.
That means a great deal to me. The ABHRS exam is the only validated board certification dedicated to hair restoration surgery, and being asked to teach on its review course is a responsibility I donβt take lightly. It is one thing to earn a credential. It is another to be trusted to help others earn it too.
Beyond the course, the Congress was everything these gatherings should be. I caught up with my seniors, collaborated with old friends and colleagues, and met some of the incredible upcoming talent coming into hair restoration. Our field only gets better when we learn from each other, and this year was a powerful reminder of that.
I came home to India proud of how far hair restoration has come, and more committed than ever to bringing that global standard to every patient at IIHT. Already looking forward to the 35th World Congress in Yokohama next year.
